Day 1 : Marrakech – Tizi n Tichka pass – kasbah of Ait BenHaddou – Ouarzazate – skoura – Valley of roses – Dades gorges :
“Desert Camel Tours” invite you to explore Merzouga in 5 day tour from Marrakech to desert. The private driver will pick up you from your riad and we cross Atlas mountains in “Tizi n’Tichka pass”.
You will explore Berber villages before we take a guided tour in “Ait Benhaddou”. It is famous Unesco kasbah where many famous Hollywood were filmed. We visit Ouarzazate movie studios ,we pass “the road of 1000s kasbahs ”,you visit Skoura ,then fascinating “valley of Roses”.
You stay overnight in local riad in to Dades Gorges. Dinner and breakfast is served at your riad.
Day 2 : Dades gorges – Tinghir – todra gorges – erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga desert :
Today we continue exploring Dades valley , and “Todra gorges”, where you hike with local mountain guides. The are is very famous for rock-climbers. We continue to explore Ziz valley and fossil city of Erfoud. You visit fossil factory and we finish our day in Merzouga desert where we stay overnight in local desert hotel with dinner.
Day 3 : excursion 4×4 and camel ride in Merzouga desert :
Today we explore Merzouga desert in 4×4 vehicle visiting Khamlia muscians in their village. We cross dunes to meet Nomad people living in desert. We visit Rissani local souk and we ride camels to Merzouga camp. We cross the dunes to reach desert tents.
Our dinner will be served near campfire and you will listen traditional Berber music. We spend a night in desert tents in Merzouga camp.
Day 4 : Merzouga desert – Rissani – Nkob – Draa valley – Ouarzazate :
Today you experience sunrise in Merzouga desert.
Then we ride camels back to village for breakfast. We explore Berber villages on the way to Ouarzazatte. We pass Nkob , Agdez. Overnight in Ouarzazate in local riad with dinner.
Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains- Marrakech :
On the last day of Morocco private tour we cross again “Tizi n Tichka” pass to reach Marrakech.
The private driver of “Desert Tours Marocco” will drop you off at your accommodation in city.
