3 Days Tours From Marrakech To Desert

Day 1 : Marrakech – Atlas mountains – Ait BenHaddou unesco – Ouarzazate – skoura – Valley of roses – Dades gorges :

“Desert Camel Tours” invite you to explore Merzouga desert in 3 day tour from Marrakech. We pick up you in the morning and we travel over the “Tizi n’Tichka Atlas mountains pass” (at 2260 m).

During the journey we enjoy Atlas views of the fascinating mountains. We drive through some Berber villages before we stop in “Ait Benhaddou”. You will enjoy guided tour in local kasbah, famous Unesco site where many famous Hollywood movies has been filmed.

Then we visit city of Ouarzazate ,its movie studios and then we continue through “the road of 1000s kasbahs ”.

We visit Skoura and “valley of Roses”. We arrive to Dades Gorges where we stay overnight at a riad/hotel. Dinner and breakfast is served at your accommodation.

Day 2 : Dades gorges – Tinghir – todra gorges – erfoud – Rissani – camel ride in Merzouga desert :

Our private Marrakech tour continues after breakfast in riad. We explore the beauty of Dades valley.

Then we continue towards Tinghir where we visit nearby “Todra gorges”. Here we hike with local mountain guide in a massive fault, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley. This valley is very famous for rock-climbers.

Then we pass Ziz valley to reach fossil city of Erfoud, where we stop at local fossil factory and you may purchase some of local souvenirs. We visit also Rissani and its market – souk. We continue to Merzouga desert.

We stop at desert hotel for a cup of tea , and we prepare for camel ride to Sahara camp crossing desert dunes.

The Berber dinner will be served near campfire and we will listen Berber music. Night in desert tents in Merzouga.

Day 3 : Merzouga desert – Rissani – Nkob – agdez – Ouarzazate – Atlas mountains – Marrakech :

On the last day of our Merzouga desert tour we enjoy sunrise over Erg Chebbi.

You will ride camel back to village for breakfast and then we drive towards Marrakech. We pass cities and Berber villages of Nkob , Agdez, and Ouarzazatte. We cross again “Tizi n Tichka” pass to reach Marrakech.
