Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Your adventure begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Upon arrival, we will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco, or take a stroll along the beautiful Corniche Ain Diab.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the historic Kasbah of the Udayas. We then continue our journey to the blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy the picturesque blue-washed streets and a relaxing evening at your riad.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Leaving Chefchaouen behind, we drive towards Volubilis, an ancient Roman site showcasing well-preserved mosaics and ruins. Next, we explore Meknes, home to Bab Mansour, Heri es-Souani, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. We then head to Fes, Morocco’s cultural capital, where you’ll settle into your riad.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes – The Spiritual Capital
Discover the wonders of Fes el-Bali, the world’s oldest medieval Medina. Wander through the labyrinth of streets, visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, Chouara Tannery, and the Royal Palace Gates. Experience the city’s unique handicrafts and vibrant souks.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
We leave Fes and drive through the charming Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Passing through the Cedar Forest of Azrou, you may spot wild Barbary macaques. We continue through Midelt and Errachidia, reaching the gateway to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. After a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoy a magical night in a luxurious desert camp with traditional music under a starry sky.
Day 6: Exploring the Merzouga Desert
Spend a full day in the Sahara, visiting Khamlia Village, known for its Gnawa music. Explore the nomadic Berber lifestyle, visit fossil sites, and enjoy a sunset camel ride. Experience an unforgettable night in the dunes, indulging in local cuisine and Berber hospitality.
Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Departing from Merzouga, we visit Rissani, home to an ancient market and the tomb of Moulay Ali Cherif. We continue to Todra Gorges, where you can admire towering rock walls perfect for climbing. Finally, we head to the Dades Valley, known for its winding roads and stunning rock formations.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate
Drive through the breathtaking Valley of Roses, famous for its annual rose festival in El Kelaa M’Gouna. Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can explore the Atlas Film Studios and Kasbah Taourirt.
Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
